Great food. Reasonable price. Huge servings. Only open til 2 but they have a great breakfast and lunch menus. Cool ambiance as well. Patio with a small lake view. Attentive servers. Def coming back.

We were there last weekend and I am still thinking about the delicious breakfast I had. We liked it so much, we went back the next day!! Great food and awesome service! Super friendly. Clean and plenty spots to sit while you throw down some scrumptious home cooked food! If you're in there area, you gotta stop by and give 'em a try!

Great location! We are local and go here all the time, thanks Sydney! Loved the new potatoes!

My dad used to take me here growing up. 40-years later I'm glad to say that the food, staff and quality of my experience was superb!!!!! I wish they still served milkshakes but Only the prices have changed!!! I recommend this place and with a view of Tahoe.... How can you not?!

Good basic food for breakfast. The Cobb salad is HUGE! Joe's scramble is delicious. The fries are the best - nice and crispy. Pastrami sandwich - the pastrami was cut too thick. They need to shave it thin.

The Old Post Office Cafe is a charmer with a perfect view of Lake Tahoe. Its a place where locals and tourist eat. Don't be shy, go in and ask for a seat. Sit at the counter and be transported back a few decades. Or nestle up at the countertops in the sun room that overlooks the frontage street. Seating along the window is a perfect place to watch people drive past. The food is a solid 10. The Spinach Omelette with House Potatoes and Wheat Toast was my order for a Saturday morning. The food came hot and each bite was delicious. It was a brisk 35 degrees outside, the hot, black, coffee did it's job waking up my senses and body. The staff was friendly and didn't rush us to leave. We could actually sit, drink another pour of coffee and enjoy some morning conversation. I can see why people make it a stop whenever they're in the area. Good People, Good Food.

Amazing food and service! Their plates are huge two people can share one plate So delicious

Came here on a hot summer day with my friend and we got quickly seated at the counter top while larger parties waited which we appreciated. We shared the Cobb Salad and the Country Fried Steak. Food was pretty good and so was the ambiance of this place. It felt incredibly homey even though we were not from the area and everyone was friendly including other patrons sitting around us.

Excellent food and drinks! We had the Bacon Bloody Mary and the Ruby Red Pamplemosa for drinks and for food, the Californian Omelette and Country Fried Steak. Highly recommended! It's not a big place so there's a bit of a wait, but it's not a hassle because there are tables and chairs outside at the back of the restaurant where you can sit and relax. The staff make sure you're informed once your table is ready. Great service!

The Old Post Office is a must-do every time we make a trip to Tahoe. It's a small, cozy spot that's always pumping out good breakfast. The breakfast is always consistent and it's usually crowded! I suggest getting there early, unless you don't mind a wait. Despite this, the service is always great. The Country Benedict is usually my go to. I get a half order. It's an English muffin topped with a breakfast sausage patty and gravy, with a side of home fries. Always filling! I suggest going on a long hike after it The coffee is always hot. The corned beef hash is very good. Check out this North Lake staple!
